Raising support issues

The Kx Platform bundles come with a set of support scripts which can be executed to collate the relevant host and environment info.

Execute the scripts on each of the affected hosts in the environment and include the TGZ files with a detailed description of the issue when reporting the problem.

Current install location [~/kxinstall]:

This will run the, and (if applicable) and generate timestamped tgz files.

KX-SUPPORT-HOST-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXX.tgz Host information such as FQDN, OS Version, Installed Packages
KX-SUPPORT-LOGS-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXX.tgz Platform log files. Errors and configuration files.
