KX Dashboards

KX Dashboards is an interactive data visualization tool that enables non-technical and power users to query, transform, share and present live data insights.

Rich visualizations of both static and real-time streaming data can be built using drag-and-drop and point-and-click operations in an easy to use editor.

Powered by modern web technologies, KX Dashboards can be used in all major browsers across mobile and desktop environments.

KX Dashboards and kdb+ / KDB-X

KX Dashboards is built from the ground up for kdb+ and KDB-X. Unlike general-purpose BI tools that treat kdb+ as just another database connection, KX Dashboards understands kdb+ natively — its data types, its query language, and its real-time streaming architecture. The result is a visualization platform that works with kdb+ the way it was designed to work, without translation layers, polling overhead, or data format conversions getting in the way.

Why it matters

Most BI tools are built around a generic SQL abstraction. To connect them to kdb+, data must be serialized to JSON, passed through a REST layer, and converted into a format the tool understands. Every hop adds latency, every conversion adds CPU cost, and every abstraction layer limits what you can express in a query.

KX Dashboards removes these layers entirely.
