Web Interface Overview for Views-Only Users

This page provides a high-level overview of the web interface available to views-only users in kdb Insights Enterprise.

As a views-only user, you can access existing Views that you are entitled to see, enabling you to explore and analyze data without the risk of making unintended changes.

Web Interface introduction

After you login to the kdb Insights Enterprise web interface, you are presented with the Overview page.

The interface includes the following elements:

  1. Left-hand menu

    You can browse and open existing Views. While other menus are visible and clickable, they do not display any content.

  2. Ribbon menu

    You have access only to the System Information option.

  3. Home/Overview page

    The main display area includes Quick Actions and Recently Deployed panels.

    • The Recently Deployed panel appears without data.

Keyboard navigation

Menu items can be navigated using the keyboard:

  • Tab to move focus.
  • Enter to select.
  • Esc to close menus.
