Introduction

This section contains all the documentation required to successfully operate and administer a KX Refinery installation. The KX Refinery Administration platform is a collection of systems management tools that allow users to manage a KX Refinery system.

The primary administration tool is a command line interface (CLI) that anyone with any experience of Unix systems will be familiar and comfortable with. There are also a number of HTML5 dashboards to serve specific purposes. The Administration platform is installed as standard with all KX Refinery deployments.

Note: DaaS (Data as a Service) was the original name of KX Refinery, and the "DaaS" word is integral to many of the physical names of dashboards, folders and processes so you may see this acronym periodically.
