Upgrade Your KDB.AI Server

If you are on a version of KDB.AI Server prior to 1.0.0, we encourage you to register for the public version of KDB.AI Server license here and complete a new installation.

To upgrade to the latest version:

1. Follow the instructions on our setup page and download the latest version.

2. Stop your existing image.

3. Start a new image using the older versions configuration. This ensures previously persisted data is accessible.

Ensure you update any pre-existing scripts to reference portal.dl.kx.com/kdbai-db:latest rather than registry.dl.kx.com.
